Deborah Crippen, DVM
Brief info

Dr. Deborah Crippen returned to Santa Rosa in 1983 after veterinary school and joined Lakeside Pet Hospital as a veterinary technician while preparing for her board examinations. After becoming licensed in early 1984, she joined the practice as a veterinarian under the mentorship of Dr. Charles Robinson, who founded Lakeside Pet Hospital on a commitment to high-quality medicine and personal client care. Although she initially planned to practice large-animal medicine, she chose to remain in small-animal practice—a decision that led to a lifelong career at Lakeside. Dr. Crippen took over ownership of the hospital in 1995 with a focus on preventative care and meaningful support for pets and their families. She also served as President of the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) in 1996 and has been honored to care for generations of pets in the Santa Rosa community.
