Harshdeep Dogra, DVM, MVSc, MS

Dr. Dogra joined Lakeside Pet Hospital in December 2025 and brings over 25 years of experience in small animal medicine, diagnostic pathology, and clinical research. He is known for his calm, compassionate manner, clear communication, and thoughtful approach to patient care. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2001 and went on to complete two Master’s degrees in veterinary sciences, including a Master’s in molecular biology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. During this time, he published and presented research in clinical disease diagnosis, pathobiology, and drug discovery.
Dr. Dogra has practiced small animal medicine in a variety of clinical settings across North America, including private practice in Canada and multi-doctor hospitals in California and Nevada. His professional interests include small animal dentistry, internal medicine, and reconstructive surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Dogra enjoys walking, spending time in nature, traveling, reading, swimming, and water sports. He is a proud father of two children and values building long-term relationships with both pets and their people
